There are quite a lot of economic ownership problems in the modern times in most asian countries. Especially in the Philippines where common large businesses or corporations buys land for the degradation to the environment.
In relation to land ownership, farmers have asked the government to what they call it, to have land rights for equal land distribution. Since farmers only has small holdings that they can plant their crops in since agriculture plays an important role in their economy.
I have also heard about this. Although because of the called perpetual ownership most large or powerful companies or people buy it and turn it into workshops instead.
In the United Goddesses Dimension...
*sigh* I remember now that I feel awfully bad for my people. In my time the emperor won't do anything about our economic and social problems. Agriculture also plays a big part of it, not to mention the struggle of our farmers with limited land and unfair distribution of social wealth!
Princess 林林 (Lin Lin)- most beautiful and educated woman in ancient ChinaQueen Heba- most brave Queen of one of the most advanced Egyptian civilizations
Oh Lin, the Pharaoh of my civilization is worse! Among the monarch, private and feudal land ownerships, a strong king could take advantage of lands that they can just take properties and make it their own. The weak kings are at risk of land ownerships against the strong kings.
Queen Heba: Well at least you didn't experience constant hunger for little food supply and famine.
TRY DEALING IT WITH MY CIVILIZATION'S PROBLEMS! Cultivating corns plays a big part of our economy, it is our basic subsistence...the commoners are only allowed to small parcels of land shared by others or a communal land including that they always lack usable land.
Atzi- Goddess of love and agriculture Mitske - the first female samurai or Onna-Musha who fought in a feudal war.
Our economic problems are much more complicated than you guys'. You see, since in our feudal system, the Daimyos began to get too powerful since they possess most lands which made farmers only allowed to also own small amounts of farm land that they could rent out to others. And for the others in the feudal system, both samurais and shoguns had really no power over land ownership against the Daimyos. While our emperor was only a figurehead.
