- There are quite a lot of economic ownership problems in the modern times in most asian countries. Especially in the Philippines where common large businesses or corporations buys land for the degradation to the environment.

- In relation to land ownership, farmers have asked the government to what they call it, to have land rights for equal land distribution. Since farmers only has small holdings that they can plant their crops in since agriculture plays an important role in their economy.

- I have also heard about this. Although because of the called perpetual ownership most large or powerful companies or people buy it and turn it into workshops instead.
