  • Rome is located in Italy , it was surrounded with peninsulas and islands because it was in southern South. The Rome was inspired by the Greek Architecture , religion , art , and writing . 
  • Etruscan Influence on sports 
  • The myth is that a princess gave birth to two twin baby boys , the boys names where Romulus  and Remus . The boys father was Mars and he was the god of war . The princess's uncle was scared that the boys would grow up to take their fathers throne , so her uncle ordered his men to drown the boys in the Timber river . A wolf saved the boys before they drowned .
  • Greek Influence of architecture 
  • The Romans became excellent builders because they learned most of their techniques from Etruscan . Two important Etruscan and Romans adapted was the arch and the cuniculus  .   
  • Greek Influence on writing , art , and religion 
  • Romans adapted two bloody sporting events of Etruscan . The first event was slaves fighting , and there was also chariot racing . In Rome thousands of slaves died fighting as gladiators . 
  • Greek architecture was one of the important influence on the Romans . The Romans used Greek designs for their own places that where public . 
  • The Romans borrowed and altered the Etruscan alphabet . The Greek influence Rome on painting , and sculpture . The Romans adopted many Greek gods as their own , but they gave them Rome names .
