  • Gravity
  • EX. Jupiter has a higher gravitational pull than earth.
  • Elastic Force
  • original state non stretched
  • Elastic Forces Continued
  • gravity is the force that pulls objects twos each other. every object has a gravitational pull. The more MASSIVE an object is then the more gravitational pull that object has. On earth 2 balls can fall at the exact same time and will land at the exact same time.
  • Friction
  • static friction (the shocking kind)
  • magnetism
  • Elasticity is the ability of a material to return to its original shape after being stretched or compressed. when an elastic material is stretched or compressed, it exerts elastic force.
  • the earth has a magnetic field
  • An elastic force acts to return a spring to its natural length. Such springs exert forces that push when contracted, or pull when extended, in proportion to the displacement of the spring from its equilibrium position.
  • magnetism
  • Friction is the forces resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements slidin against each other. there are several types of friction. for example dry friction is a force that opposes the relative lateral motion of two solid surfaces in contact.
  • A physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, resulting in attrractive and repulsive forces between objects
  • magnetism is a class of physical phenomena that are mediated by magnetic fields. electric currents and the magnetic moments of elementary particles give rise to a magnetic field, which acts on other currents and magnetic moments.
