  • Battle of Gonzales
  • surrender your cannon!!!!

  • I, George Childress, will be the author of the Declaration of Independence!
  • The Alamo
  • Spread the word of the Texans were defects!!
  • The Battle of Gonzales was the start of the Texas Revolution. The Mexicans wanted to get the cannon back from the American Colonists. The Americans refused to give up the cannon to the Mexicans. This caused a skirmish between the two groups.
  • Massacre at Goliad
  • During the Battle of the Alamo, delegates were creating a government. They had to work quicker and first wrote the Declaration of Independence. Then, the delegates had to work to crate a government and fight for their country
  • Runaway Scrape
  • Santa Anna caused the battle and it started just before dawn. It was one of the bloodiest battles, and only lasted for about 90-minutes. All of the Texans defenders died, and the Mexicans only kept the women and kids alive.
  • Battle of San Jacinto
  • "Remember the Alamo" and "Remember Goliad"
  • General Urrea part of Mexican army marched through the southern parts of Texas. In this area at the time was James Fannin with Texas. The Texans soon found themselves surrounded in an open prairie. Being unprepared the Texans were captured and token was prisoners. Then, had to marched to open land to be execute.
  • Santa Anna being in Texas caused the settlers to panic! The people of the towns know if they were caught they would be executed. They ended up burning down the towns they lived in and going to the United States.
  • This was the last and quickest battle. The Texans were ready and prepared; when the Mexicans were tired. Santa Anna disappeared during the battle and they ended up finding him in different clothing.
