  • Total Wellness
  • Social Wellness
  • Mental/Emotional Health
  • Total Wellness describes the relationship between social, physical, and mental/emotional health. A balance must be obtained between these three aspects of wellness in order to keep both your body and your relationships happy and healthy.
  • Mental/Emotional Health
  • It's important to determine if your relationships with others are positive. Do you listen to your peers and treat them with respect? Do they do the same towards you? We should create meaningful and deep bonds with our words and actions. So, we must learn how to form them by being honest yet kind.
  • Physical Health
  • How do you view yourself? Do you respect your body and recognize your weaknesses and strengths? As humans, we tend to make mistakes. What's important is being able to learn from them. You shouldn't let the mistakes of your past dictate your future.
  • Its Importance
  • Do you recognize the emotions you are experiencing? Are you able to manage your moods and emotions? It's important to learn how to deal with stress before it begins to negatively affect your physical health or relationships with others.
  • Physical health is a combination of healthy eating habits, physique, and regular exercising. We should eat healthy foods in proper proportions in order to supply our body with energy. Some of this energy should be put into exercise to keep our heart and muscles strong. In addition, we should take care of other factors such as cuts, scrapes, bruises, and broken bones.
  • A person's total wellness can give a lot of insight into their quality of life and life expectancy. It's important to understand the basic steps towards a more healthy and happy lifestyle before we create damage to ourselves or others that we cannot undo.
