Super Secondary Succession!
This storyboard does not have a description.
Secondary succession starts with the climax community from primary succession, except there was a disturbance that ruined that community. In this case it was a fire.
Opportunists grow, like shrubs and weeds. They are taking advantage of the soil, which is rich from the primary succession. They are the pioneer species, which can also be known as the early colonizers.
Shrubs start to grow, along with the weeds and grasses.
Fast-growing, shade intolerant trees begin to grow, like pines.
They're replaced with bigger trees like oak and maples.
It is once again a climax community, full of diversity.
