THE TYGER by WILLIAM BLAKE
Tyger, tyger burning through the bright lovely forest
Tyger, Tyger , in the Forest at Night, what immortal hand or eye, dare frame, thy fearful summetry?
when the stars threw down the spears, and water'd heaven with their tears
did he who made the lamb make thee?
The purpose of this poem is to explain that all of gods creations are made for a reason. The tyger represents people that sin. the tyger is explained as dangerous, deadly and dreadful. THe poem shows that humans are also capable of doing something wrong and it also meant to show the tyger and the ready we are made in gods image of not creating a sin.
