Storyboard Text

  • Tina and her freind Betty are adjusting to their surroundings before going out with the herd
  • The top leader is teaching them when they're small to detect dangerous animals which could possibly harm them
  • Hey Betty how do you detect predators?
  • I can associate a certain smell with different predators
  • Betty and Tina are still growing up and are going to learn how to live and protect each other from predators
  • One day Tina was gonna take a nap under the tree, but didn't notice the cheetah. The cheetah got Tina but she ran as he scratched one leg and even thought she got harmed she fought back
  • This step is unconditioned stimulus because they're still learning to adapt to their surrondings but also defend one's self
  • If you want to learn how to detect animals before they attack, you need to listen to your surroundings to hear what is near. Sometimes you can feel a presence of something lurking and that can hint that it might be a predator
  • Betty learned to associate a smell to different predators so know she can hunt for food this is conditioned stimulus
  • Tina learned from her dad that to detect any predator is to hear your surroundings and RUN
  • Tina got injured by the cheetah but she fought back. She out ran it and escaped with some bruises and scratches and this condition is unconditioned response
  • After that day she was to scared to go out alone
  • Tina's confrontation with the cheetah made her scare to ever go back hunting, but she knew that she had to go back. So she asked for help from her father causing her to have unconditioned stimulus
  • That sounds easy enough
  • Tina is representing conditional response. She learned that she has to run if she see's a predator and the response comes naturally
  • She learned from when she got attacked and know she runs as fast as she can
