  • Adams  and Attucks
  • Samuel Adams started a protesting group to go against the British. The people in the group all agreed that America should be free. Crispus was one of the first to follow Samuel in his group.
  • March 4, 1770
  • A colonist and a British soldier got in a fight. He started taunting him and protesting. This made the redcoats worry. Which led to Crispus and the group to fight the redcoats.
  • March 5, 1770
  • Crispus and his group started throwing clubs, sticks, and even snowballs. The redcoats also started firing their guns. Crispus was one of the group members in the front row fighting. This event was known as the Boston Massacre.
  • March 5, 1770
  • Since he was in the front row, he was killed instantly. Followed by four other people in his group.
  • March 5, 1770
  • Crispus Attucks was the first one to die, was African American. Even though he was a slave, he wanted America to be free from British rule. Crispus sacrificed himself for others to be free.
