  • How did the Magna Carta contribute to the decline of feudalism? Let's find out. 
  •         The decline of feudalism 
  • I am out of money I need to tax the nobles again  
  • We are here to ask you to sign the Magna Carta.  
  • There are many things that lead to the decline of feudalism. One thing that contributed is the Magna Carta. 
  • I will agree to the Magna Carta if I could continue to rule. 
  • King Henry's youngest son John became king and taxed his nobles heavily and ignored their traditional rights.
  • According to the Magna Carta you can not do that. 
  • Put him in jail. 
  • The nobles forced king John to a meeting to were they insisted that he put his seal on the Magna Carta . 
  • You now have more power than me and can always go back to the Magna Carta !
  • The king agreed to the Magna Carta by being able to continue to rule but to observe common law and their traditional rights. 
  • The Magna Carta protected the rights of the nobles 
  • The Magna Carta contributed to the decline of feudalism because the nobles obtained power and maintained it  by going because they were always able to refer back to it. 
  • you cannot do this because of the Magna Carta
