Storyboard Text

  • In 1890, when Kaiser Wilhelm II came to power, he felt as though Germany should have as many colonies as France and Britain had overseas. They were not satisfied with the number of colonies they had, they wanted more.
  • we are going to be the most powerful country!
  • In Austria-Hungary, the Serbs were getting mad. They were living near the south, and they wanted to join the other people of their culture in Serbia, which was already an established country. They didn't want to keep losing their cultural identity by staying in a country where they didn't belong.
  • we want to live with the Serbs, that is our rightful place, not here!
