  • Bacteria can be displayed in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
  • Antibiotics kill bacteria and help prevent bacteria from multiplying.
  • However, on most occasions not all bacteria dies. The bacteria that does survive is known as 'Resistant Bacteria'.
  • Resistant Bacteria 
  • The resistant bacteria multiply (reproduce) and eventually become more common.
  • Overtime, the bacteria will continue to increase and the end result is a population of mainly resistant bacteria.
  • However antibiotic resistant bacteria can be dangerous as they make infections harder to treat.
