The other day Julia and her mom were having a conversation and her mom made her feel dumb when she asked if she could try and apply to an ivy league school.
Julia decides to confront her mom in order to be able to forgive her because over the past couple of days she has been silent and ignoring her.
Julia walks down the stair and asks if she can talk to her mom. Her mom agrees unaware of where the conversation is going to go.
As Julia begins to explain how over the past couple of days she has been angry and upset with her mom because of the comment she made when Julia asked if applying to an ivy league school would be possible.
Her mom immediately apologizes and says that she didn't mean to hurt her she was only trying to bring awareness to the fact that the acceptance rate of an ivy is extremely low and even the smartest of kids dont even get in sometimes. Julias mom also says that next time she will be more cautious with the words she uses.
Julia is able to forgive her mom and understands that she was just trying to look out for her best interest. By forgiving her mom she is able to go back to the peaceful and loving relationship they previously had.
