Appeasement fed into the cause of WWII because of how it enticed Hitler into wanting more and more until he took matters into his own hands. Fascism gave people the courage to stand up to other countries with differing beliefs. The strong sense of nationalism in Germany made them feel as though they could take on the world if they worked hard enough. Japan's military growth played a role in WWII because of how they dragged the U.S. into the war with their constant invasions of China and attack of Pearl Harbor. With so many lives lost the U.S. had to declare war. The Treaty of Versailles added to the cause due to how it blamed German for WWI and made them pay reparations in full for all of the damages because they lost. This was the start of their depression. The Stock Market crashed which contributed to a worldwide depression, this weakened Germany as well. With no one to turn to Hitler found his time to shine. Finally, The League of Nations and how they hadn't done anything to stop any of the fightings during the time of turmoil.
Work for us! Work for all! (suckers)

Germany would take land, break contracts, and the trust of other powerful countries. In trying to get them to stop, Britain tried to appeased their motives which only fed their hunger for more.
Treaty Of Versailles
Fascism in Italy and Germany grew with Hitler and Benito Mussolini in charge. This may be what gave these countries the drive to start being aggressive.
Japan invaded China in their search for power. As war breaks out they need to accommodate themselves with their own supply of resources so they take some of China's . . . By force.
League of Nations

The League of Nations
After WWI, the Allied Powers blame the entirety of the war on Germany (which is only a half-right) and makes them pay reparations for losing the war.
You're paying for everything because this is your party and YOUR fault
Oh brother these guys stink
When the stock market crashed, it threw the entire world into a moderate, but considerable depression. Choas ensued.
the stock market
The League of Nations were responsible for keeping international peace between different countries , but alas, they did absolutely nothing
