  • 30 January 1933: Hitler Made Chancellor
  • Meet the new chancellor of Germany!
  • Cheer to a new era of Germany!
  • Thank you, thank you all for your support.
  • Horray!
  • June 30, 1934 - July 2, 1934 Night of the Long Knives
  • February 27, 1933: Reichstag Fire
  • Germany is in danger! You must sign a decree to ban these communists.  
  • Hmm, I must!
  • 14 July, 1933     All political opposition is banned
  • Fearing that the parliamentary SA had become too powerful, Hitler caused several S.A leaders to die such as Ernst Rohm, as well as other opponents of Hitler, even within the Nazi Party. 
  •  March 23, 1933: Enabling Act
  • The Reichstag building caught on fire and a Dutch communist worker was blamed. President Hindenburg signed an emergency decree which banned the communists.
  • Gleichschaltung
  • To strengthen his absolute control over Germany, Hitler banned all political opposition leaving only the Nazi party to exist.  
  • Th Enabling Act gave Hitler dictatorial powers and absolute power which meant the right to make all the laws.
  • Hitler implemented the Glelechschaltung which meant totalitarian control over all aspects of German society (economy, trade associations, media, culture education).
