Chapter 3
George and Lennie are sitting by a pond talking about the farm they are planning to own later. Then they eat and go to bed.
Chapter 4
George and Lennie go to the farm and talk to the boss. The boss takes them to the barn then they meet Curley and Candy.
Chapter 5
Carlson convinces Candy to let him shoot his old dog. Slim agrees to give Candy one of his dog's puppies so he still has a dog.
Chapter 6
Lennie wanders into Crook's room and talks to him. Candy walks into their conversation and talks until the other people come back.
Lennie accidentally snaps Curley's wife's neck. Everyone else finds out and decides to go hunt down Lennie.
Lennie runs back to the spot where he and George were at the beginning of the story. George finds Lennie and shoots him so he doesn't have to suffer.
