  • Stamp Act (1765)
  • The Sons of Liberty (1765)
  • It made the settlers unable to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains after the French and Indian War; so then the Natives can have land for winning the war.
  • Stamp Act Congress (1765)
  • The stamp act was an act that made tax on any paper items. These had an English stamp that would have the tax on it.
  • The Townshed Acts (1767)
  • They were a group of Patriots who got together under a tree called the "Liberty Tree" where they planed riots and protests.
  • The Boston Massacure (1770)
  • It was a meeting in New York with a representative from each colony to rebel against the British Acts; mainly the stamp act which it was named after.
  • The Townshend Acts were acts that put tax on a lot of everyday items like lead, paper, tea, glass, and paint.
  • The Boston Massacre was when a troup of British Soldiers fired into an aggressive mob of colonists in the city of Boston. This left 5 dead and 3 injured.
