1.The bible should be in common language
2.Presiest should be permitted to married
3.All christians are equal access to go and the bible
By 1500's the Roman Catholic Church was super powerful and controlled what their people did, they also had controlled of 1/3 of the land in Europe. The Pope also competed with the King for who had power. And would excommunication if against pope's rulings
The church would communicate with people which prevented people from receiving sacraments. The Roman Catholic church also sold indulgences (pardons for sins)
Salvation is gained through faith
-God is all powerful-Humans are sinful
Martin Luther wrote the 95 theses (a list of 95 arguments against indulgences being sold) and then Luther's teachings came out which consist of (above). There was Lutheranism which was protesting against the church. People supported the protest and so did german princesses.

The Thirty Years War was between the church people and the protestants.
John Calvin believed in many different things. Calvin leaded a group in Switzerland.
Protestants in France were called Huguenots. King Henry IV gave huguenots freedom and some political rights. And then King Henry VIII wanted to ANnual his 18 year marriage & then passed the 1534 Act of Supremacy which made him head of the church
