Storyboard Text

  • Exposition: George and Hazel are sitting at their home watching a group of average ballerinas
  • George's hearing handicap goes off, setting him off guard.
  • It would be breaking the law, and I would be sent to jail! then others would break the law, and we'd be back in the dark ages
  • Why don't you just take off your handicaps for a bit? it wouldn't hurt much
  • Rising action: George and Hazel are interrupted by a news broadcast stating that their son, Harrison Bergeron, has escaped
  • Harrison Bergeron has escaped from prison. If you see him, do not try to reason with him.
  • Harrison suddenly appears in the room. He commands the people take off their handicaps and that they play real music for him to dance to
  • Join me, empress, and together we can show them what true dancing is!
  • Climax: The Chief of Handicap General appears after moments of Harrison and the ballerina dancing amazingly and shoots them. She orders the DJ's to put their handicaps on and stop the music, or else.
  • F.A. + Resolution: George left to get a beer and returns to see the TV burnt out and Hazel is crying over nothing. He asks why
  • Why are you crying, honey?
  • Something on TV. I can't remember.
  • There's no need to remember sad things.
