  • The state of Arkansas can not pass legislation undermining the courts ruling in Brown v. Board of Education.
  • What laws are we breaking?
  • Brown v. Board of Education declared that the 14th amendment forbade the states from segregating the students in their public schools
  • We've passed new state laws and constitutional amendments outlawing integration in the state.
  • The Governor and the Legislature of Arkansas openly resisted the Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education. They refused to obey court orders. You guys can't do that!!!!
  • No Comment. 
  • You can't carry out the intended plan of desegregation you fool! It goes against the 14th amendment!!!
  • At the time we weren't worried about the amendment. We figured it didn't matter.
  • Order in the court!!!!
