Daedalus starts and finishes his project on making wings so he and his son can fly away. Icarus attached his wings using hardening wax then stands at the window nervous but then he jumps
As he falls he realizes the wing work and that he is the first boy to fly. The guards of the palace stare in astonishment but eventually, all goes down. Likewise, Icarus thinks he can fly as high as the sun or even higher so he attempts but, as he gets higher and higher the wax melts and his wings start to slip off.
All Daedalus could do is stare and watch his son fall and all that remains are the feathers from his wings in the ocean
