  • The basic plan for Greek architecture was a simple rectangle with large colums and a gently sloped roof. Greeks usually made Vases and other pottery to express their art.
  • Alexander the great had blended his culture across many empires. Doing so had gained him a great popularity of power. He named some of the places he conquered "Alexandria".
  • Greeks during the Hellenistic age had great math and scientific advances such as the Pythagorean theorem which is used to calculate the relationships between the sides of the triangle .
  • After the death of Alexander, the Great new Cultures emerged that combined the Greeks, Persians, Egyptians, and Indian Influences.
  • Hippocrates studied illnesses. The cure and the cause of the illness. Like doctors,physicians took oaths to help people become cured.
  • During this time women were now able to go outside of their homes freely. Royal women had considerable power. Some had occupations such as statue painters and others were poets.
