In Rome in the 1500's the assassination of Julius Caesar by a faithful second man and group of conspirators who feared the ambitious leader would cause the Roman Republic to crumble. The story of betrayal and the seek of power leads to death.
Et tu, Brute?
After Caesar returns from his battle win from Pompey he has a victory celebration. Brutus and cassius two polictical figures discuss that Caesar is becoming to much like a king.
We msut go kill Brutus and Cassius
Then all of the conspirators meet up including Brutus and Cassius to discus the plan to kill Caesar. Cassius says that they should kill Antony as well but Brutus insist that they shouldn't.
The conspirators meet Caesar at the Senate and they stab Caesar until he is dead. Caesar is shocked that brutus has done this considerationing how close they were.
While Rome is being lead by Brutus, Caesar’s adopted son Octavius, arrives in Rome and him and Antony and Lepidus prepare to fight Cassius and Brutus.
In the battle Cassius notices that there going to lose and has one of his men kill him. As Brutus realizes there is no hope he ends up killing himself and Antony thinks that this was a very noble action.
