In this song it is right when the circus started and at first Barnum, didn't have alot of sales but then as he got more people he sold lots of tickets and gives the people that are different a job and makes them feel welcome

In this scene Barnum is distracted Jenny Lind and a riot starts in the circus and they started a fire and burnt the whole thing down. I believe that everything happens for a reason and this happened so that Barnum could make the circus better.
In this song it is after the circus burned down and Barnum is going to change and not just go for the fame. He decides to rebuild it but not in a building in a tent and he has a big plan to top it all off.
In the end of the story Barnum doens't want the fame anymore so he gives his position to Philip. He wants to watch his daughters grow up and live a normal ife because he had expirienced fame but it isn't worth not being able to be with his family.
