Armored tanks
Germany sent a telegraph & tried to convince Mexico to join their alliance. But the British intercepted the telegraph and showed it to the US. That was the last excuse that they needed to enter the war.
A type of combat in which troops fight from trenches facing each other. The life on the trenches was horrible and soldiers were exhausted because the only thing they did was wait and get attacked by artillery.
In 1916 Britain introduced new weapon, the Armored tanks. They were unsuccessful war machines in WWI because they moved slowly and broke down often. They did little to break the stalemate.
