  • Hello, my name is George Washington, I was the first president of the U.S.A. I will talk to you about the Executive branch of government. The person in charge of the federal level is the president. (Donald Trump) The governor is in charge of the state level. (Matt Bevin) Lastly, the mayor is in charge of the local level (Greg fisher). The executive branch approves bills, and sometimes in the state they can make some state laws.  The president can also veto bills. These are the main responsibilities  of the Executive branch of government.

  • Hello, I am one of the 2 senators from Kentucky. I am going to tell you about the Legislative branch of government. In the federal level Congress, Senate, and House of Reps are in charge.  In the state level Congress, Senate, and House of Reps are also in charge.  In the local level the Metro City Council is in charge.  The main responsibility of the Legislative  branch is to create bills, (federal) listen to issues local court will not solve, (state) and to solve community issues. (local) These are the main responsibilities of each level of the legislative government.

  • Hello, I'm a judge, and I am one of the 9 justices that works for the Supreme Court. I am going to talk to you about the Judicial Branch of government.  The 9 justices of the Supreme Court are in charge of the federal level. The 7 justices from the Kentucky Supreme court are in charge of the state level. Lastly, the Louisville Metro Hall is in charge of the local level. The amount of justices in the local level vary.  The main responsibility of the Judicial branch is to make sure laws are fair and to decide consequences. Every level of government works in a different place. For example there are many courts in the Louisville Metro Hall, for the local level. For state they work in the Kentucky capitol building. Last, the federal level works at the Justice Building in Washington D.C.
