Monhenjo-Daro was an old civilization in India discovered by modern humans. Many relied on the rivers for many things. Citys such as the Indus Valley only lasted for 200 years.
The great bath is one of the big buildings here in the Indus Valley.
Many homes were made out of bricks. They made the streets wide so big things could come through, like construction tools of elaphents. If the town didn't have enough houses, they would just build a new house on top of another house. But not all the houses were the same. They seperated the town with the rich and the poor.
We'll need some help to carry this stuff around!
Many towns had a fountian or a well to use. Since they had water, people would sometimes use it for drinking or to take a bath with the water or use it for sanitation. The bathrooms in the citys were all conected to pipes so dirty water would go away. Some people used the river the same way.
I'm ready to trade with other city's or country's!
Many people in the Indus Valley were religious. They belived in gods and goddesses and all that stuff. So that led them to build a huge building called the great bath. The great bath was a place where many people took to take a bath.
