Why did you drink all your water? We just entered the desert and now we must find an oasis to refill.
Today we arrived in the desert and it is scorching hot. The sun is relentless and we take very few water breaks so that we do not run out quickly. We also must look out for sandstorms which could put us off track.
We found an Oasis!
The temperature is very dangerous as it can severely dehydrate us. The heat can also cause mirages! I hope I don't imagine an oasis! Our camels are built to survive in the desert so they do not have a problem with the heat!
The sandstorm came out of nowhere! Sandstorms in the Taklamakan are very dangerous because we could get lost as the visibility is low. We have covered our faces and mouths to stop the sand but the wind is still whipping it up!
Give us your goods!!
We managed to find an oasis to refill our water. I am so happy it was not a mirage. After we refill we will continue our journey more careful with our water consumption. There may not be another oasis before we leave the desert.
Tonight as we were sleeping, a few animals came but did not take anything. We were lucky because animals can steal food and other vital things that you keep unprotected.
As we were leaving the desert we were attacked by bandits! They came out of nowhere and attacked our caravan. My dad and the other merchants had knives with them and defend their silk. The bandits left after looting one of the caravans, thankfully not ours!
