  • The Monsters are due on maple street
  • I just don't understand it. It would not start you saw me,all of you saw me. I don't understand. I swear I just don't understand. What's happening?
  • WHY DID HIS CAR JUST START LIKE THAT?!
  • YOU KILLED PETE VAN HORN
  • Why he was just going to the next block to see if the power was on.
  • It's Pete Van Horn
  • In "The Monsters Are Due on Maple street" by Rod Serling one of the main themes is that you can't just assume if you don't have evidence. I know this because in The Monsters Are Due on Maple street the neighbors were just assuming it was each other. They did not have much evidence but they turned on each other every time something new happened. For example when Les Goodman's car started they thought he was the monster. Also they thought Pete Van Horn was the monster since it was dark. Then they took it upon themselves and shot him. He was just walking to the next block and he came back and he shot Pete Van Horn. The aliens just turned off the power and they turned on each other in a second.  If it can happen here it can happen anywhere. Now the aliens are going to each Maple street and making everyone turn on each other. Suspicion can destroy, and the pity of it is,these things can not be confined To the Twilight Zone
