  • On a certain day of the year 1820, Mary Elizabeth Bibb was born.

  • No, I believe not. My name is Henry Bibb.
  • Mary graduated from a school called Massachusetts State Normal School in the year 1943.
  • In the entirety of North America, Bibb was one of the earliest Black woman educators. She educated in places such as Boston, Albany, New York as well as Cincinnati.
  • What are you planning to name the club?
  • Windsor Ladies Club. It can also be called Mutual Improvement Society
  • Mary's dedication towards creating change led her to partake in anti-slavery activities. Around that time, in the year 1847, she met Henry Bibb. Henry was a slave who had escaped and an abolitionist.
  • Mary Elizabeth Bibb Married Henry Bibb in the year 1848, one year after they met.
  • Mary established a club called Windsor Ladies Club, also known as Mutual Improvement Society. The establishment of this club took place in 1854.
