- The Louisiana Purchase was Important because this caused the the US to doble in size but this did cause there to be some issues with Spain owned Texas and the US citizens wanted that land.

- At the battle of Medina the Spanish troops (the bigger army) and the republican (the smaller army) fought and the Spanish won and killed the rebels.
