  • About 2,000 years ago Romans raised rabbits for meat and fur.
  • Scientific studies, however, have shown that rabbits might be more related to hoofed animals like horses.
  • Rabbits and Hares are close relatives but when rabbits are born they are helpless, they have no hair, they can not hop but when Hares are born they have fur and can hop.
