Susannah Cahlaln was a heathy 24 year old. She worked for the New York Post newspaper. She loved her job and the people she worked with. One day she woke up with two strange dot on her main vein in her left arm. She started to get very worried and thought she might have bedbugs in her house, a common thing at the time. She started to fell sick throughout the days and thought she had the flu.
Well Susannah, your brain biopsy went well.
That's great! I'm really tired.
One night she had a tonic-clonic seizure, as they call them. Her boyfriend, Stphen, who woke up to Susannah's gurgling sounds, called 911.
Once they got her to the hospital, she ended up having to stay for at least a month because she started to become psychotic. Sometimes she was furious for no reason, sometimes she was very happy, sometimes very sad, and others just normal. At times she really didn't want to be there.
Eventually, after they tested Susannah for almost every bad thing possible, a new doctor who joined her ''team'' decided to do a brain biopsy.
Once they examined her brain, they figured out that she had a rare but serious disease. It's pretty much where her body attacks her brain.
Eventually, she got better and works at her job to this day. It was a long hard recovery, though. It took her a long time to get used to being around a lot of people.
