Storyboard Text

  • Farming probably began in Mesopom
  • I'm here today to teach you about the Agriculture Revolution.
  • The Neolithic Age began with the invention of farming.
  • The Agriculture Revolution is when people learned how to farm.
  • Now that we could control our food source people could do other things besides farm.
  • This is why people started in houses. It's called permanent settlement.
  • They learned how to plant and grow seeds, and could grow more food than needed.
  • People had to stay in one place so they could watch and collect their crops.
  • Societies are a result of people farming and living in houses.
  • Small societies grew into large civilizations.
  • Sumeria was the first civilization in history, it was in Mesopotamia.
  • They grew because more and more people were staying in one place instead of moving around to get food.
  • Societies and civilization are both things that we have got with farming.
  • The invention of farming gave us everything we have today. Your clothes are a result of farming.
  • That is what started the Agriculture Revolution, why we started living in houses, and what started societies and civilization.
