After Germany's conquest of the rest of Europe they turn their sights to Poland. Germany and Russia make an agreement to split Poland after its defeat. Germany successfully invades Poland which enters Britain into the war marking the start of WW2
Hitler enacts Operation Sea Lion, a forceful attack on Britain. Britain withstands the attacks by hiding in subways and keeping all lights off at night. The attack uses German resources and strengthens Britain's resolve.
After Germany breaks its truce with Russia they decide to mobilize and attack. Hitler makes the same mistake as Napoleon by invading Russia and being caught in the Russian winter. The surrender at Stalingrad weakens Germany greatly and shows that they can be defeated.
Hiroshima And Nagasaki
Germany had captured France in six weeks during the war, but there was still resistance within. On D-Day Allied powers storm French beaches, the allies are successful and fight Germans out of France, giving France its freedom and pushing Germany further back adn coming closer to its defeat.
After Germany's many failures the Nazis are surrounded and defeated. Germany's mistakes included attacking Britain and the Soviet Union, they also could not produce as much as the US. Hitler is surrounded in Berlin and in fear of being captured, Hitler commits suicide in his bunker.
After Germany's surrender there was still one axis power remaining, Japan. Due to Japan's culture and attitude towards war, they would've fought until every soldier had died. To avoid mass casualties the US dropped atomic bombs on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These bombs forced Japan into surrendering marking the last event of WW2.
