Storyboard... people want to do marijuana but one of them doesn't want to
Hey, guys! I brought a joint with me... you up for a smoke before the movie?
Sure! I heard that it comes from this cool plant called cannabis.
Smoking that joint with my friends is really cool. However, there are long-term and short-term effects: Some short-term effects are that I get a high and have warped perception, and some long-term effects of marijuana are breathing problems and increased heart rate.
Doesn't marijuana have some bad side effects?
Well yeah, but it's really cool and it makes you feel good.
So, my options are: I can smoke the joint with my friends and then go to the movie, I can not smoke the joint and then go to the movie, or I can not smoke the joint and not go to the movie.
An external influence that I have is my friends. They want me to smoke the joint with them. An internal influence that I have is my values and beliefs. I think that it isn't safe or good to do marijuana.
If I smoke the joint with my friends and then go to the movie, I'll be cool, get a high, and see a good movie. However, I could get in trouble and hurt driving home high.
If I don't smoke the joint and don't watch the movie with my friends, then I won't get in trouble or hurt and won't suffer from any of the negative side effects of smoking joints. However, I won't get the high and I won't be cool.
If I don't smoke the joint but go watch the movie, then I won't suffer from the bad effects of the joint and I'll be able to watch a good movie. However, I could get hurt from my friends driving home high, and I could get trouble for being with people smoking. Plus, I con't be cool and won't get the high that others got.
I don't think that I'm going to do the joint, guys. It's not very safe and I could get in trouble. Besides, it goes against my values. Come to think of it, I actually have to go home too. See you later?
