It was a cold and dreadful christmas day. John was opening presents when he got a helicopter drone. The box said it had a mile radius from the controller, but that'll be proved wrong. He then asked his mom to go outside. She said yes.
I have to get it back.
John was outside. He went on the concrete pad. He started up the drone again. It was still starting up. He was making it lift off after it started up. He made it fly up. He made it come down a little bit.
No, it's too cold.
Can I get out out and look?
After, he tried to land the drone and it started to go forward a bit. John wasn't that worried but it wouldn't respond to anything after that. He ran after the drone, but John couldn't catch up. He panicked.
You're not going to find it...
John ran like the wind to get to the front door. He ran in, and got his mom to drive around, all to find the drone. But this won't help. He felt determined to find it, he said to himself, "I have to get it back."
They coudn't find the drone in the car but John wouldn't give up. He said he wanted to get out to look for it. His mom said no. He planned to get out near the woods to look for the drone.
John jumped out and started running. His mom ran after him and said, "You're not going to find it." John stopped and his mom put her hand on his shoulder. As to comfort John she patted his shoulder a few times.
