The first amendment is the freedom of religion, of speech, of the press, and of the assembly also the right to petition the government.
Freedom of Assembly
The freedom of religion allows people to worship their beliefs, as long as they aren't disturbing their surroundings. For example, the two Muslim ladies were just wearing a hijab, and wasn't harming anyone or disturbing them.
Freedom of Press
The freedom of speech allows people to say their opinions, or anything they want to say.
Right to Petition
Yes. So we can be able to eat outside of campus.
The freedom of assembly are peaceful protests against the government. Where people have the right to assemble together and voice the concerns against the government.

The freedom of press is where people criticize other people using any news sources such as magazine, newspapers, or even the news.
The freedom of petition is where a person wants to change a rule. For example, these kids want to eat outside of campus when they are having their lunch.
