  • Arlington House in Arlington, Vitginia
  • I, Robert E. Lee, moved in after he died.
  • The Union army took over and made the land into a graveyard for soldiers in 1861.
  • The estate has lots of soldiers buried there, who fought for slaves to be free. The U.S. Army also used this place during the Civil War.
  • I, Geroge Washington, am George Washington Parke Custis's step dad.
  • Union used the land after they overthrew it to aid themselves in the war. 
  • There were many of us slaves, and we lived on the plantation.
