  • The pilgrims have a very strict religious way. Even though they have religious freedom they can be kinda out of control, that they have religious persecution. Another group that was searching for freedom of religious is puritans. These two groups wanted to get away from the New England way.

  • Where they wanted to go.
  • Where they ended up.
  • No Women Allowed!
  • The Mayflower Compact  is a government made by all the men. The men all agreed to consult each other abouts the laws. They also promised to work together to make the colony succeed. Only men were allowed to sign.
  • The pilgrims and puritans had to learn how to go fishing, whaling, and how to cut down timber. These 3 main sources were the main way to keep the economy stable. The 3 ways were easy to do in cold and warm weather.
  • When the pilgrims were going to Virginia but a storm blew them to Massachusetts. They lived in a cape cod area with rocky soil and timber. They had a small farm.
