Storyboard Description

This comic stripe is illustrated in a way of myself like a teacher reviewing the United Nations and some things about it with a question and answer that I provided with. The United Nations was a big part of the Cold War. It tried to maintain peace between countries whenever they try to go against each other, in this case, during the Cold War, and it seems like it wasn't sufficient enough but it was with what the UN did during that time. However, the UN was still a big role in the Cold War whether it did a good or not. I picked that because it seemed like an easy topic to talk about and illustrate too.

  • I have a question Ms.? Why did the United Nations decide to join the Cold War?
  • Good question Max! Since we know what the UN and the Cold War is , we should know why the UN decided to join the Cold War?
  • Lets go back and review about the UN in the Cold War.

  • I mean, do you ever wonder if the UN was effective in the Cold War?
  • If you do wonder that ,then let me tell you that no, it was not effective. The UN failed to maintain peace and security during the Cold War.
  • But hey, did you know the UN got limited?
  • It got limited for the reason because the UN technically became a battleground to the Cold War. It was between communist and non-communist. However, since the US and the Soviet Union had held it'd vetoes without permission, it caused the UN to be limited.
  • Ohh wow!
  • This is the little review we jus went through. It was complicated for the UN to preserve the world peace in the early decades of the Cold War ,but the UN helped in what they can.
  • Thank you so much for the review about the UN in the Cold War and what it did too Ms. Camila.
