Rome was a village that was on a Peninsula. The eventually, expanded owning most of the area.
ETRUSCAN SPORT INFLUENCE
Two young boys named Romulus and Remus were sent to be assassinated by men who worked for the king. They were saved by a wolf and raised by her. Another family picked them up and tried to raise them out of wolf like instincts. They eventually did, but they wanted revenge. They went back to the village and gathered an army. They overthrew the king and got into a heated argument whether it would be called Rome or Reme. Romulus killed Remus and became the king of Rome.
Again influenced, they made things like the archway. They got the idea from the Etruscan's.
Writing, Art, and Religion
This is a slave fight. This was one of Rome's most popular sports that were inspired by the Etruscan's. The whole concept of this sport was inspired off of the Etruscan's slave fights and chariot races.
The Greeks heavily inspired their style of building. They used similar columns and used it on a lot of buildings. This came to place because Greek people settled around there and used their style.
The Greeks had a great influence when it came to art and religion as well (also writing). They believed in around the same Gods.
