  • I want him to be KING!!
  • He will either become a king or a religious leader.
  • Siddhartha is coming LEAVE!!
  • How did I not know about this!!
  • Siddhartha was born a prince in Nepal. When he was young, his fortune told that he would either be a king or a religious leader. Or course, his father wanted him to be king.
  • Okay...
  • You are no longer one of us!
  • His father, as king, wanted him to be king so he would always send guards out with him when he'd go out. The guards walked ahead of him and moved anyone that was suffering so he wouldn't see them.
  • I will stay until I know the truth!
  • When he once went out with no guards, he saw many people on the streets, suffering. He was shocked and horrified and ran to the woods to become more religious.
  • This is Buddhism!
  • Believe in Buddhism!!
  • This is Hinduism.
  • While he was in the woods, he searched for the truth about life, suffering, and death. He was taught by gurus about Hinduism, but he didn't believe this was true. He then joined the asceticss and did not eat. After many months, he fainted and gave up on no food. They abadoned him because of this.
  • As he became healthy again, he sat under a fig tree to meditate. He told himself that he would no tleave that spot until he found the real truth. He sat there for 49 days and found the real truth. He achieved enlightenment and became Buddha which means "enlightened one."
  • After he reached the end of the cycle he went back to teach people about what he learned. He traveled all around India teaching everyone. They asked him what he was, but he responded that he is awake. He trained others to teach and then died ant the age of 80.
