  • The king did not allowed the colonist cross/settle the coast west beyond the Mountains of Appalachian. Although the colonists were unhappy with the proclamation line, since they believed it limited their freedom.
  • the proclamation of 1763 helped resolved a conflict with the Native Americans, and it also kept the colonists on the coast(where the British would be able to control them. 
  • The British economic problem led to a lot of trouble,deeply in debt resulted on the war with France. The government planned to tighten the trade rules and tax the colonies.
