  • Bloody Sunday was a tragic event in Russian History, at the Czar's Winter palace, there was originally a peaceful protest about their freedom's and about 200,000 Factory Workers between 500 and 1,000 innocent people were killed by Russian Soldiers shooting at the massive crowd

  • Rasputin was killed by a group of Russian's who dislike Czar Nicholas II's ruled, and wanted a revolution.

  • Factory Workers and Peasants were on strike after bread shortages, and crisis' were rising quickly after the Duma being dissolved, the Russians quickly formed a Provisional government.

  • Bolshevik Leader Vladimir Lenin returned after being exiled. Soviets quickly overthrew the Provisional Government after the war was too demanding. Lenin got such support with his phrase, "Land, Peace, and Bread". the Soviets quietly took control of Petrograd. Lenin gave land to peasants and factories to the workers.
  • Lenin gave out an order to arrest and even assassinate any person suspect to the revolution. Lenin eventually killed the Czar and his family, along with about 300,000 people. Others were sent to prison camps, Lenin believed that the only way the revolution could survive was if the Soviets were in control.
  • Joseph Stalin was the Secretary of the Communist State. Leon Trotsky was the leader of the Red Army.Stalin started appointing all his friends as the leader of the U.S.S.R, in 1924, Lenin suffers a stroke that prevents him from talking. stalin convinces others that Trotsky is a traitor so he can usurp the throne of Russia.
