  • John Brown was trying to raid Harper's arsenal. It backfired to start a slave rebellion, no slaves showed up and he fought the rebellion on his own. He ended up losing his 5 sons but lastly ending up in jail.
  • It's time this come to a end!
  • After John Brown was captured he spent 7 days in jail. He did not feel guilty or regret anything he did.
  • My sons are dead, I am in jail, but I don't regret anything i did.
  • During his fifth day in jail he was taken to trial to be punished for his crimes.
  • You will finally get the punishment you deserve.
  • You are found guilty, and sentenced to execution by hanging!
  • When he faced trial he was charged with treason and he was found guilty. He was then sentenced to execution by hanging.
  • John Brown spent his last days in his cell thinking about his sons and where he went wrong. But he had no regrets.
  • John Brown was convinced that slavery was evil and must be stopped at all cost, even if it meant his children and him would die.
  • I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land can never be purged away but with blood
