The messenger that Friar Lawrence sent sees Romeo pass him, and since he's almost finished at the house, decides to follow and see the message sent.
Romeo still kills Paris, the messenger was too slow for that, however Romeo does get the message before killing himself.
Romeo gives the sleeping Juliet her waking kiss.
But Juliet does not wake. This is not fantasy. The Friar actually killed her.
The Friar arrives, finally realizing his mistake. He sends Romeo away.
Romeo runs back to Mantua. Later he realizes how brash he'd been and felt incredibly guilty. The Capulet's lost their heir, and the Montague's too, as Romeo gave his up. The families stop fighting. Romeo becomes a writer, using the pseudonym of one "Shakespeare".
