Storyboard Text

  • what do you see?
  • you cant show off your visons
  • But why? What happened to the last giver!
  • Jonas has been assigned the receiver of memory. He is responsible for the memories of the community.
  • Jonas does not have to be nice to people he can ask any question and get answers. also he does not have to take any medicine unless sick or hurt, he can not tell anyone about his dreams/ memories.
  • We are all equal!!
  • The difference between the Giver's house and the rest is the Giver has lots of books. Better things nicer furniture an the main thing is having a lockable door.
  • Here! Catch.
  • He transmits Jonas snow and sledding to get to see seasons and different temperatures. Plus hills and enjoyment are shown.
  • The community is now allowed to make there own decisions because they want everyone the same and to minimize problems and crime. If people could make there own decisions there would be fights and arguments also more stealing if they could choose the colors and types of clothes they had and furniture.
  • "Seeing beyond" is the gift Jonas has that's why he is a giver or going to be the new one. He can see colors and has visions and things like that like the apple changing colors in air just before he caught it.
