  • In Social Studies, we are learning about how GDP interacts with natural resources. Can you help?
  • So in Latin America there is natural resources, and these natural resources provide jobs to many people
  • For example, Cuba's natural resources are cobalt, nickel, iron ore, chromium, copper, salt, timber, silica, arable land, and petroleum. Mexico's natural resources are gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, natural gas, and petroleum. Brazil's natural resources are iron ore,manganese, bauxite, nickel, granite, limestone, clay, sand, tin, gold, platinum, uranium, gems, petroleum, phosphate, timber, and hydroelectric power.
  • These jobs provide pay to many including the homeless. Most have never had a job before. This means that more people are getting paid and this increases GDP. THE END
