  • Fighting broke out between Britain and France. The French had the upper hand at the start of the war.
  • George Washington was the first person to attack the French, Benjamin Franklin helped organize and create battle plans, Edward Braddock was the General of the British Army & William Pitt, the British Prime Minister, helped supply the colonies with troops and money. These men helped Britain take the upper hand.
  • Important  People
  • The French and Indian War happened from 1754-1763 in whats today is called the U.S.A.
  • The British were growing and wanted more land, while the French said they owned the  land to the west
  • War broke out and many native tribes took sides
